Lunch & Nutrition

ALLERGY ALERT

To accommodate the medical needs of children with severe allergies at Elmwood School, we promote allergy awareness and have a NUT AWARE policy.  The safety of all children is our first priority. Thank you for supporting this policy in the best interest of our children with severe and life-threatening allergies.

 LUNCH PROGRAM

As an additional service to parents and caregivers, we are pleased to offer a supervised lunch program for students in grades 1- 6. It is the policy of Edmonton Public Schools that school lunch programs be operated at no cost to the District. The school must recover the costs involved in providing this service.

  • Families use standard forms to register for lunch, and to apply for a reduced fee if needed.
  • All Edmonton Public Schools set lunch fees using a standard formula.
  • All students who stay for lunch at Elmwood pay lunchroom fees. Elmwood is an alternative program.

MILK SALE

Elmwood offers a milk program. Students staying for lunch may purchase white or chocolate milk. Milk cards are available in the school office. All recycled juice boxes and milk cartons support Elmwood School student events.
